Who are BHI and Brent?
BHI was incorporated in 2012 and is a licensed Chartered Professional Accounting Firm specialising in US Cross Border Tax.
Brent is a licensed CPA in both Canada and the US, holds a Master of Science in US Taxation from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. Brent started his career at a national firm in Edmonton and has worked both in public practice and industry in Canada and the US.
In 2005 Brent received the New Professional’s Award at the Washington Society of CPAs for active participation and service to the community and Washington state’s CPA profession.
In 2007 Brent was selected as one of the South Puget Sound’s 40 under 40 for his active participation as a US CPA in Washington State as well as serving within his community in Olympia Washington.
Outside of work, Brent can be found raising/driving his 2 daughters, bbq smoking for his family and friends, serving within his community, solving any sized Rubik’s cube, and playing recreational hockey and running.
